summer and guilt
so i’ve found myself at the end of another weekend where i have yet to update this blog–and frankly i feel a little guilty. i’ll let ya’all know about spring break pretty soon. as for now, i am slightly stressed by three things:
1. i just came off of a week of sickness–which is no fun when you’re at school
2. i have four weeks left of school and have yet to secure summer plans
3. i have four weeks left of school and way too much to accomplish in those four weeks.
i’m sorry, as this blog is a bit hurried–so forgive my typos.
so what are my options this summer?
i have a few. i’m from indianapolis and i’m going to spend the months mostly around there just to be with my family since it is my first college summer and they haven’t seen me in since christmas. but i have some pretty cool job prospects.
first off, i might work at the apple store — thank you jesus for apple computers.
i also might intern doing video work at the IMA (Indianapolis Museum of Art), which would make me feel artsy and academic
and lastly, i really want to landscape. i haven’t cut a lawn in my life, just becasue my dad or brother always did it. so–here i am–an eighteen year old having never felt the vibrations of a lawn mower and the sweet smell of freshly cut grass. i also just want to work outside and with my hands.
right now, i’m apply at the apple store and need to get back to that. then–i’m off to study greek vocab, of which i am extremely behind due to my sickness.

ps. go listen to fleet foxes. i’m reluctant to make such a drastic claim as saying they are my absolute favorite, but they are indeed up there in my favs. i heard about them recently–out of washington and kind of like a southern Shins mixed with beautiful three part harmony. anyway–do yourself a favor, go for a drive, roll down the windows, and blast Ragged Wood–you won’t regret it.
